Dedert Named AMCC Athlete of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's volleyball senior outside hitter Colin Dedert (Pittsburgh, PA/Plum) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athlete of the Week.

Hering helped the Lions clinch a playoff spot in the upcoming AMCC Tournament. He tallied a career-high 18 kills in the five-set win over Penn State Altoona on Saturday for a win and in situation for Behrend. Dedert posted double-digit in a pair of matches last week, averaging 3.78 kills per set. He also tallied 17 digs (1.89 per set) and added four blocks and four service aces.

Dedert ranks third in the AMCC in kills with 114 this season.

The Lions are back in action on Wednesday at Geneva for the AMCC Semifinals. Match begins at 7 p.m.
