LATROBE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's volleyball team will battle St. Vincent and Geneva on Sunday in an Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) tri-match in Latrobe, Pa. The Lions battle the Bearcats at 1 p.m. followed by the Golden Tornadoes at 3 p.m. for the AMCC Match of the Week.

Penn State Behrend News & Notes:

* The Behrend Lions are tied with Hiram for first in the AMCC with a 3-0 conference mark
* The Lions have swept eight of the last nine opponents for a 9-4 overall record
* Last week, Adrian Martinez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Wesleyan Academy) had double-digit digs in three of the four wins for the Lions
* Martinez averaged 4.08 digs per set and a season-high 20 digs in a 3-0 win over Thiel, while also adding seven assists
* Martinez leads the conference in digs with 135
* Last time out, Behrend defeated Thiel and Mt. Aloysius, 3-0
* The Lions are ranked second in the AMCC in kills (501), digs (497) and blocks (77), while ranking third in service aces (85)

* The Bearcats enter the weekend with an 2-8 overall record and 2-2 AMCC mark
* St. Vincent recently defeated Mt. Aloysius 3-0 in conference action
* The Bearcats hit a season-best .367, committing just six errors on 79 total attacks
* Ethan Kammerer recorded 10 kills and zero errors on 13 swings to post a .769 hitting percentage
* St. Vincent is looking for its first win over Behrend after falling in three straight matches

* Geneva is 7-10 overall and 1-6 when playing on the road
* The Golden Tornadoes have won their last three matches, all against conference opponents
