BERKELEY, Calif.  – The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team dropped its opening match at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships to No. 3 California Friday afternoon.

Key Moments:

* Jack Holl (Greenwich, CT/Greenwich) and Eli Anderson (Encinitas, CA/San Dieguito) each scored a team-high two goals for Behrend
* Holl was successful on both his attempts to score
* Anderson, Eugene Kruger (Pleasanton, CA/Foothill), Chase Cordon (Canyon Lake, CA/Temescal Canyon), and Andrew Nunes (Flower Mound, TX) each recorded an assist in Friday's contest
