Junior Hillary Lasher (Lakewood/Southwestern) has been named as the AMCC women's tennis player of the week for the week of October 12, 2009.

Lasher was victorious in three AMCC singles matches and two conference doubles matches.  She went on to defeat opponents from Frostburg, Penn State Altoona, and D'Youville.

With the three victories, the blue and white are now 13-4 overall and are tied with Frostburg with the best record in the AMCC at 9-1.  The Behrend Lions will be at the AMCC Championships on October 17 and 18 which will be hosted at the Oxford Club in Wexford, Pa
