ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's tennis team will host La Roche in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) action on Friday at 6 p.m. at Westwood Racquet Club. 

Behrend News & Notes:

* Behrend is tied for second place in the AMCC with Penn State Altoona, boasting a 3-1 record
* Overall, the Lions are 5-3 with a recent loss to reigning AMCC Champions Pitt-Greensburg last Saturday
* Against the Bobcats, Tamanna Sharma (Brampton, Canada/Fletcher's Meadow Secondary School) and Keri Saulino (Bethlehem, PA/Fredom) won their singles matches
* Sharma won in a tiebreaker set at No. 2 singles (2-6, 6-4, 10-8) and Saulino posted a 7-5, 6-2 victory in the sixth spot
* Sharma is one of two players in the AMCC with an undefeated singles record at 4-0
* Erica Jasinski (Fairview, PA/Fairview) continues leads the team with six singles wins at the No. 1 spot

La Roche News & Notes:

* The Redhawks are in last place in the AMCC with a 0-5 overall record and 0-3 mark in conference play
* Last time out, La Roche fell to Geneva 9-0 on Wednesday
* The Redhawks have only won two sets out of five matches this season
* Emily Lyon and Teresa Munoz Torrado posted an 8-7 win at No. 1 doubles vs. Waynesburg
* Torrado went on to collect a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 1 singles in that same match
