ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Senior Madison Kappeler (Cecil, PA/Canon-McMillan) earned All-AARTFC honors for the Penn State Behrend women's indoor track & field team on the first day of the All-Atlantic Region Track & Field Conference (AARTFC) Indoor Championships hosted by Nazareth.
Key Moments:
* Kappeler finished tied for fourth with Erin Eastwood of Ithaca in the pole vault with a personal-best score of 11-3 ¾ which earned her a medal to and a spot on the All-AARTFC Team
* Sophomore Lindsey Hartle (Pittsburgh, PA/Avonworth) ran a time of 19:39.08 in the 5000m for 22nd
* As a team, Behrend registered 4.5 points to sit in 18th place in the standings

* The Lions will compete in the 4x2 relay and triple jump on the second day of the AARTFC Indoor Championships, beginning at 10 a.m.
