No. 1 Behrend Volleyball Faces No. 4 Pitt-Bradford in AMCC Semifinals Saturday

ERIE, Pa. – The No. 1 Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team will host No. 4 Pitt-Bradford Panthers in the semifinals of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Junker Center.

No. 1 Penn State Behrend News & Notes:

* The Lions are looking to the defend the title they last won in 2019
* Behrend has advanced to the AMCC Tournament every year except two (2016, 2020 - covid) since the inception of the conference in 1997
* The Lions are competing for their sixth overall championship
* Behrend clinched the AMCC regular-season title, the No. 1 seed and hosting rights for the AMCC Tournament with an undefeated 8-0 conference mark
* Last Saturday, the Lions completed their perfect AMCC record with a 3-0 win at Mt. Aloysius
* In conference games, Behrend ranks first in hitting percentage (.270) and in total blocks (46) while sitting second in kills (296) and assists (263)

* Senior outside hitter Emily Cleveland leads the AMCC in kills, and kills per set
