ERIE, Pa. – Three Penn State Behrend student-athletes were named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept 19-25.

The Lions were recognized in women's tennis, women's soccer and men's golf. Senior Chelsea Czerwinski (Erie, PA/Mercyhurst) was named Athlete of the Week in women's tennis for going undefeated in a 2-1 week for Behrend. She was 3-0 at No. 1 singles and 3-0 at No. 1 doubles to remain unbeaten on the season.

Junior forward Olivia Belack (Upper St. Clair, PA/Upper St. Clair) was chosen Athlete of the Week for women's soccer. She led the team with three goals and one assist in a 1-1 week. Against Grove City, she tallied one of two goals and then netted two goals with one assist in an 8-0 win over Pitt-Greensburg. Her first goal against the Bobcat was the eventual game winner. Belack leads the team and AMCC in goals with 10 this season.

Junior Alex Shindledecker (Erie, PA/McDowell) was named AMCC Golfer of the Week for winning the La Roche Invitational season-best performance of 75 to finish four over par for his first individual-medalist honor. He also helped the Lions win the invitational with a team score of 323.
