ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend men's volleyball senior libero Adrien Martinez (San Juan, PR/Wesleyan Academy) and men's tennis senior Mitchell May (Erie, PA/Harbor Creek) have been named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athletes of the Week.

Martinez, the AMCC Defensive Player of the Week, tied the program record for career digs at 895 in a 3-1 win over Geneva on Saturday. He averaged 4.86 digs per set, recording double-digit digs in each match in a 2-0 week. Martinez tallied 16 vs. Carlow and 18 against Geneva.

May helped the Lions capture the AMCC Regular-Season Championship with three conference wins over the weekend. He went undefeated this season in conference play in both singles and doubles. May posted a 6-0 record at doubles and 5-0 mark in singles this season. He tallied a pair of singles wins and tallied two doubles wins without giving up a single set.
