HILTON HEAD, SC – The Eastern Nazarene men's tennis team defeated Penn State Behrend 9-0 in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.
The Eastern Nazarene Lions tallied three doubles wins, before earning all six singles matches including two in tiebreaker sets.
Yanique Apgar (Pittsburgh, PA) and Brett Palmer (North East, PA/North East) each won their opening sets at No. 1 and No. 6 singles, respectively, but then fell in the second set and then a tiebreaker.
The Lions return to action on tomorrow against Defiance at 6 p.m.
