Dabrowski Breaks School Record as Lions Host Behrend Invitational

ERIE, Pa. – Dan Dabrowski (Harborcreek, PA/Harborcreek) broke the Penn State Behrend record in discus on Sunday as the men's track and field team hosted the Behrend Invitational.

Noteworthy:

* Dabrowski hit his own personal best as well as the school record with a mark of 48.81 meters for first place
* Dabrowski also registered a PR in the javelin throw with a toss of 32.58m
* Eric Stehlik (Northport, NY/Northport) qualified for the All-Atlantic Regional Track and Field Conference Championships with a career best in the 100m, finishing in 10.96
* Blake Burns (Jefferson, OH/Jefferson) (200m), Nicholas Hartman (Cranberry Twp., PA/Seneca Valley) (400m) and Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep) (800m) each placed first in their respective events
* Anand Bhambwani (Pittsburgh, PA/Mt. Lebanon) punched his ticket to the AARTFC Championship with a 1.90m leap in the high jump
* Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) and Braeden Smith (Erie, PA/Seneca) finished first and second in the high jump
* Hetrick also finished first in the long jump at 6.25m
