ERIE, Pa. – Five Penn State Behrend men's water polo student-athletes have been recognized by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) and named to the 2021 Academic All-American team.

Rob Thompson (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East), Ryan Kenney (Skippack, PA/Perkiomen Valley), Mike Geary (Erie, PA/Mercyhurst Prep), Elijah Anderson (Encinitas, CA/San Dieguito), and Samuel Flesch (The Woodlands, TX/The Woodlands) were named to the All-Academic Team for achieving a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher.

Thompson led the team with a 3.68 GPA followed by Kenney with a 3.46. As a team, the Lions had a 3.20 overall GPA.
