    Penn State Behrend student-athletes Andy Iams and Harmilee Cousin III have recently been selected to participate in the NCAA National Student-Athlete Development Conference in Orlando, Florida. The conference will be held May 24-27 at the Walt Disney Coronado Spring Resort.

    Penn State Behrend Junior Andy Iams (Harrison City/Penn Trafford) earned All-Mideast Region recognition after his 33rd place finish in the 2008 Mideast Regional cross country meet at Waynesburg.
  • Behrend Men Claim 2008 AMCC Championship and Women Place Third

    On Saturday, November 1, the men's and women's cross country teams competed at the AMCC Championships at Fort Roberdeau in Altoona, PA. A year after the men's and women's teams both claimed the first-place prize out of ten teams at the 2007 event, the Behrend men followed up with another championship title, while the women placed third overall.

    What are your thoughts on your team at this point in your season? For the women's team, I feel this is one of the strongest teams overall we've had in the past few years. For the men, it's been hard to deal with injuries and sickness from key returners. regionally and nationally ranked competition.
