BRADFORD, Pa. – Mia Pietropola (Pittsburgh, PA/Plum) broke the pool record in the 200 IM, while winning two individual events to help the Penn State Behrend women's swimming and diving team to an 85-76 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) victory on Saturday.

Pietropola not only broke the Panthers pool record, but she won the event with a time of 2:17.84. She also won the 100 breaststroke (1:10.85) to lead the Lions to their first dual-meet win in 2014.

Lauren Rosato (Pittsburgh, PA/Chartiers Valley) was also a double winner for Behrend. She led a 1-2-3 finish in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:17.33, before touching first in the 100 freestyle (1:03.78). Meagan Daily (Pittsburgh, PA/Our Lady of Sacred Heart) was second in the 200 free (2:24.04) and Hannah Kelly (Elizabeth, PA/South Allegheny) took third (2:38.28).

In the 1000 freestyle, Alex Isaacson (Williamsport, PA/Williamsport) won with a time of 12:43.85 and then tallied the fastest time for the Lions in the 100 backstroke (1:11.40).

Mary Therese Causgrove (Erie, PA/McDowell) was able to grab two second-place finishes, while winning the 500 free. She tallied the top time in the 500 free in 6:35.36. She followed Rosato in the 100 free (1:10.24) and then paced Behrend in the 50 free (29.76).

Daily was able to get her own victory in addition being runner up in the 200 free. She won the 100 butterfly with a winning time of 1:09.62.

The Lions return to action on Saturday against St. Vincent for their final home meet, beginning at 1 p.m.
