ERIE, Pa. - Sophomore Mia Pietropola (Pittsburgh, PA/Plum) has been named the Corvias ECAC Division III South Co-Swimmer of the Week, announced on Thursday. 

Pietropola first broke the school record in the 200 IM twice in one night, setting the new mark in the preliminaries and then erased that with a new record of 2:11.84 to finish first-place overall at the Fredonia Blue Devil Invitational. She also broke a two-year old school record with a time of 1:07.86 in the preliminaries of the 100 breaststroke.

Pietropola finished third in the 200 breaststroke on the final day with a time of 2:27.73, coming .19 seconds away from breaking the record she set last year.
