Women's Tennis Advances to AMCC Championship Match; Lions Set to Face No. 1 Pitt-Greensburg
ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's tennis team advances to the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championships with a 5-1 win over Penn State Altoona in the semifinals on Saturday night at Westwood Racquet Club.

Key Moments:
* After a 2-1 lead in doubles, the Lions only needed to win three of the six singles to punch their ticket to the championships
* Audra Carnes (Fairview, PA/Fairview) and Erica Jasinski (Fairview, PA/Fairview) were one of the two doubles teams securing a win for the early lead
* The duo posted an 8-2 win while Rachel Weber (Hampton, PA/Hampton) and Sara Howard (Ashtabula, OH/Edgewood) pushed the lead to 2-1 with an 8-4 No. 3 doubles victory
* Carnes and Howard completed their singles matches, winning 6-2, 6-0 and 6-3, 6-1 at the No. 4 and 5 spots, respectively
* Marissa Bowles (South Orange, NJ/Columbia) also picked up a match point with a 6-0, 6-1 decision at No. 2 singles over Victoria Acker
* The Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats defeated La Roche in the first semifinal, 5-1
