Lions Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

ERIE, Pa. – For the fifth straight year, the Penn State Behrend men and women's track and field teams were named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team for the NCAA Division III Indoor season.

A program must have at least a 3.10 cumulative team grade-point average. The women garnered a 3.34 GPA, while the men's team combined for a 3.103 GPA for the academic year to earn the honor.

Graduated senior Jenna Shelton (Cabot, PA/Knoch) was the lone individual named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team. Shelton was named NCAA Division III All-Region in the 800m this season as well as the team MVP.

To qualify for USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, student-athletes must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.30.
