Horn, Pinter Named to ACWPC All-America Team

ERIE, Pa. – Junior Maryn Horn (Houston, TX/Jersey Village) and senior Brittany Pinter (Erie, PA/McDowell) have been named to the 2017 Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC) Division III All-America Team, announced on Wednesday.

Horn and Pinter were both selected as honorable mentions. Horn is earning All-American accolades for the second time in her career. She was also a CWPA Second Team All-Conference honoree this season after leading the team with 48 goals and 30 drawn kickouts. She also made 71 steals while dishing out 18 assists.  

Pinter set five new program records this season. She tallied three season records in steals (92), field blocks (12) and shooting percentage (.460). Pinter now holds the career record in career steals (296) and career assists (88). This season, she scored 25 goals to go with 27 assists and 26 drawn kickouts to garner All-American status and team MVP honors.

The ACWPC All-America Team is comprised of 23 student-athletes from nine institutions.
