NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team began their season at the Westminster Invitational Friday evening. The Lion's took third out of nine teams with a total scoring time of 2:08:48.29.

Rachel Ramsey (North Versailles, PA/East Allegheny) led the way for Behrend with a seventh place finish. Ramsey crossed the finish line with a time of 24.22.90. Katelyn Hancock (Bethel Park, PA/Bethel Park) and Katie Manno (Erie, PA/McDowell) finished with times of 25.32.70 and 25.36.96 placing 18^th and 20^th respectively.

Ashlyn Carlsson (Butler, PA/Knoch) placed 27^th with a time of 26.18.44 and Paige Allen (Butler, PA/Butler) finished 34^th with a time of 26.57.29 to finish out the Lion's top five.

The Lion's will be back in action at home on September 19^th to host the Behrend Invitational. Start time is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
