ERIE, Pa. – Junior Dylan Buffington (Brookville, PA/Brookville) and freshman Riley Crissman (Bradford, PA/Bradford) and were named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Runners of the Week for the week of Oct. 3-9.

In men's cross country, Buffington continues to shine for Behrend. He now has won all three races this season, helping the Lions place first in each race. His 25:53.9 8k time is his best yet this year, and was 59 seconds faster than the second-place finisher. He holds the best three of the four top finishes in the conference this season.  

In women's cross country, Crissman earned the honor for finishing first for Behrend and first overall for the second race in a row. She ran with a 6:11 mile pace-time, leading the Lions to a first-place finish at the Houghton Invitational. Her overall time of 19:12.3 on the 5k course put her in first on the 2016 top times list.
