McGuire, Crissman Named AMCC Athletes of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend women's soccer forward Brenna McGuire and junior cross country runner Riley Crissman have been named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athletes of the Week, announced on Monday.

McGuire was the AMCC Offensive Player of the Week for scorong five of Behrend's eight goals on the week. She was instrumental in a pair of AMCC victories, scoring her first collegiate hat trick in a 6-0 win over Medaille. McGuire then registered both goals in a 2-0 decision over Pitt-Greensburg on Saturday.

Crissman turned in another strong performance for the Lions on Saturday at the Mike Woods Invite hosted by SUNY Geneseo. Crissman was the top Behrend performer, finishing 11th overall (out of 232 runners) with a time of 23:13.1.
