Russ Conley (Transfer/Reynolds) has been named the Enterprise Rent-A-Car Athlete of the week for the week of January 4, 2009.

In a week which saw the Penn State Behrend men's basketball go 1-1, Conley stepped up with big performances and continued to compete at a high level for Head Coach Dave Niland.  On Thursday, December 31 against Division I opponent Cornell, Conley turned in eight points to go along with five boards.  Behrend would get back on the winning track on Saturday, January 2 against AMCC foe Pitt-Greensburg in which Conley would electrify the crowd with three slam dunks and led the team with 17 points in the process. 

Penn State Behrend is 6-3 overall and an AMCC record of 3-2.  Next up for the blue and white is another conference home matchup with Pitt-Bradford on Wednesday, January 6.  Behrend will be back on the road on Saturday, January 9 at the La Roche Redhawks.
