STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's golf team is in fifth place out of six teams after day one of the Penn State Division III Challenge hosted by Penn State Altoona at the Penn State Blue/White Course on Saturday.

* Pol is tied for fifth overall with an 79
Ryan Johnson (Centre Hall, PA/Penns Valley) is second on the team and in 15th place (83)
* Daniel McMaster (Murrysville, PA/Greensburg Central Catholic) is tied for 16th with a 18-hole score of 84
* Fourth on the team was Hunter Kozlowski (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin), carding an 89 for 28th place
* Jake Caldwell (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) shot a 91 to tie for 30th on the day
* Penn State Harrisburg is in first place with a team score of 319
