ERIE, Pa. – Three Penn State Behrend student-athletes have been named as Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athletes of the Week.

Men's soccer senior Zak Schwarzel (South Park, PA/South Park) capped off Behrend's 3-0 win over Hilbert last Wednesday with a score in the 82nd minute. He also helped lead the Lions' backline to its ninth shutout of the season, while not allowing the Hawks to record a shot.

For the third straight week, diver Lauren Stephens (Fairview, PA/Fairview) registered AMCC Women's Diver of the Week honors, notching victories in both diving events in a dual-meet victory over Alfred State. She won the one-meter board with a score of 183.50, before posting a 180.40 total on the three-meter board.

Swimmer Dan Tanaskovic (Aliquippa, PA/Central Valley) earned AMCC Men's Swimmer of the Week honors with victories in two individual events and two relays to help the Lions defeat the Pioneers this past weekend. Tanaskovic led a 1-2 finish in the 100 free (49.17) and the 50 free (22.03), while helping the 200 medley and 200 free relays to first-place finishes.
