Behrend Men's Swimming Records First-Ever Undefeated Season

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's swimming and diving completed their first-ever undefeated dual-meet season in program history with a 164-98 win over St. Vincent in non-conference action on Saturday in the Junker Center Pool.

Key Moments:

* In addition to the making program history, the Lions honored the three seniors before the meet Quinn Fischer (Fairview, PA/Cathedral Prep), Steven Owens (Erie, PA/McDowell) and Brady Mattson (Wilmington, DE/Delaware Military Academy)
* By the first break after seven events, the Lions held a small 78-53 lead
* Fischer had back-to-back wins for Behrend, touching first in the 50 free and then claiming the 100 freestyle after intermission
* Three events later and Behrend had the lead by 40 points and then went ahead 145-81 with two events in the meet
* Fischer and Liam Watterson (Brentwood, PA/Baldwin) tallied a pair of individual wins on the day
* Watterson then joined Cole Dombrosky (Mount Pleasant, PA/Mount Pleasant), Alex Croll (Honolulu, HI/Roosevelt) and Justin Heller (Franklin, PA/Rocky  Grove) to grab 11 more points in the final 200 freestyle relay with a winning time of 1:29.15

James Connolly (Allentown, PA/Parkland) – 500 freestyle (4:59.82)
