Behrend Men's Tennis Hosts W&J Tonight

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's tennis team will face Washington & Jefferson in non-conference action on Friday night at Westwood Racquet Club. The match begins at 6 p.m.

Behrend News & Notes:

* The Lions are under the leadership of interim head coach Noah Colvin for the spring season
* Former head coach Jeff Barger retired in November after the fall season
* Behrend is 1-3 overall, defeating Nazareth 6-3 on September 21
* This is the first home match for spring competition
* Last season, the Lions defeated Washington & Jefferson 7-2
* Jonathon Laier (Lansing, MI/Holt) and Akash Sangha (Milton, Ontario/White Oaks) each have a singles and doubles win this season
* Behrend will face two more non-conference opponents to go with six Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) matches to close out the regular season
* The Lions will compete in the AMCC/United East Championships on May 4 in Hershey, Pa.
