Behrend Men's Track & Field Compete at Allegheny, Baldwin Wallace

BEREA, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend outdoor men's track & field team competed in two Last Chance Meets this week. The Lions went to Allegheny on Thursday and Baldwin Wallace on Friday.

Key Moments:

* At Baldwin Wallace, the Behrend Lions had five personal-best times
* Kody Klein (North East, PA/Cathedral Prep) and Aidan Reinsel (North East, PA/North East) ran their personal-bests and also had AARTFC qualifying marks in the 800m
* Klein ran 1:53.74 and Reinsel completed the event in 2:00.61
* Marshall Nock (Aliquippa, PA/Hopewell) had a PR in the 100 with a time of 11.43
* At Allegheny, Dan Dabrowski (Harborcreek, PA/Harbor Creek) and Samuel Hetrick (New Bethlehem, PA/Redbank Valley) placed second in the discus and high jump, respectively
* Dambrowski threw 50.98m, while Hetrick cleared 2.04m
* Anand Bhambhwani (Pittsburgh, PA/Mt. Lebanon) came in fourth in the high jump with a height of 1.90m
* Matthew Laslavic (Evans City, PA/Seneca Valley) competed in a pair of events, taking second in the javelin 51.36m and third in the triple jump (13.36m)
* In the shot put, Alex Cotton (Saxonburg, PA/Knoch) was fourth with a throw of 13.51m
* Evan States (Punxsutawney, PA/Punxsutawney) led in the long jump with a sixth-place finish (6.01M)
