Lions Continue to Set New Benchmarks as Women's Track and Field Competes in Steemer Showcase

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend women's track and field team continued to set personal bests this weekend as they took part in the Steemer Showcase hosted by Wittenberg University.

Key Moments:
* Haley Felton (Midway, PA/Fort Cherry) kicked off the day by setting a new personal record in the 60m, finishing in 10th place with a time of 9.05
* Felton also anchored the 4x400, giving the Lions a win in their respective heat along with Victoria Dieterich (Oakmont, PA/Riverview), Izzy Spires (Wattsburg,PA/Seneca) and Ivy Laffan (Waterford, PA/Fort LeBoeuf), completing the relay in 4:28.39
* Dieterich also set a PR in the 60m with a time of 9.07
* Spires set her own career best in the 500m dash, finishing in 1:25.65
* Olivia Nola (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) wrapped up the 3000m with a mark of 10:48.79, placing third
* Shannon Burns (Jefferson, OH/Jefferson) set another PR in the long jump with a leap of 4.51m
