ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend women's volleyball senior setter Lexi Irwin (Greensburg, PA/Hempfield) has been named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Athlete of the Week for the third time this season.

Irwin tallied back-to-back triple doubles in a 3-1 week for the Lions. She averaged 8.64 assists, 2.79 digs and 2.64 kills per set. Irwin registered 36 assists, 12 digs and 11 kills in a 3-1 win over Catholic and then posted 31 assists, 16 digs and 10 kills vs. Elizabethtown. She also had a double-double in a sweep over Allegheny (26a, 11k).

For the week, she finished with 121 assists, 39 digs and 37 kills.

Behrend returns to action on Wednesday against D'Youville at 7 p.m. in the Junker Center.
