The Behrend Lions women's water polo team announced its four team awards for the 2010 season.
Head Coach Joe Tristan recognized senior goalie Jenna Zeyfang (Erie, PA/First Academy) as the program's Most Valuable Player. Junior defender Jillian Sebrosky (Bethel Park, PA/Bethel Park) was selected as the Most Improved Player, while senior Danielle Wilson (Pittsburgh, PA/Plum) was named the Leadership and Scholarship Award winner.
A pair of freshmen, Stefania Pontillo (Erie, PA/McDowell) and MaryEllen Spooner (Springfield, VA/Springfield) were both picked as the team's Rookie of Year recipients.
