ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend women's cross country team will host the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Championship on Saturday, beginning at 12:15 p.m.

* The Lions will look to claim their ninth AMCC cross country title this weekend
* Behrend won eight straight championships before falling to second behind Franciscan last season
* The Lions are coming into the weekend strong, holding 10 of the Top-15 times in the conference
* Senior's Riley Crissman (Bradford, PA/Bradford Area) and Jenna Shelton (Cabot, PA/Knoch) hold the top two times in the conference with times of 22:03.2 and 22:49.2, respectively
* Other runners with Top-15 finishes are Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin Area) in sixth, Julia Fasiczka (North Huntingdon, PA/Norwin) in ninth, and Hanna Drozynski (Stoneboro, PA/Lakeview) in 11th
* Last season, Crissman was the top finisher for the Lions in the AMCC championship taking home third with a time of 24:04.56
