This 1938 graduate of University Park has formed a longstanding relationship with Penn State Behrend. His dedication and loyalty have made a positive impact on the College. The Pauline Urich Jageman Fitness Room, located in Erie Hall, was established in loving memory of John's wife. Jageman is solely responsible for supplying the Nautilus equipment that is used daily by the students, student-athletes, and faculty and staff of Penn State Behrend.
Jageman is the recipient of the 1991 Richard Dill Service
Award, presented annually to the person who has provided
outstanding volunteer service to Penn State Behrend
athletics.
Jageman, a tough ballplayer for the Nittany Lion football and
baseball teams, is an established alumnus. He is a faithful
follower of Penn State football and our educational system. Jageman
firmly believes that intercollegiate athletics contributes to the
learning process and the college experience. He is an avid
supporter of athletics, but, most importantly, he remains Penn
State Behrend's lifelong friend.
