During his soccer career at Penn State Behrend, Tony Orlando continued to get better each season. 1978, he was honored as a second team NAIA All-America selection. Orlando was named as a District 18 All-Star member in 1977-80, and was a Regional All-America selection in 1978, '79 and '80.
This four-year letter winner scored a dozen goals and contributed 10 assists in his tenure as a midfielder. It was clearly evident that Orlando's presence made the soccer program excel. In his four seasons as a starter the program won 28 games, including the 1977 squad that won a record eight games, the most in college history.
Since receiving his bachelor's degree in 1983 from Penn State
Behrend, Orlando has become a market manager for Chemlawn Services
Corporation. He resides in Acworth, Georgia.
