Missy Stasenko and her twin sister Mindy proved to be two of the best basketball players in Penn State Behrend women's basketball history.  Missy was an impressive player who scored 1,057 points in her career, which still ranks third on the all-time charts.

In the 1981-82 season, she averaged 11.5 points per game and 3.6 rebounds per game, as the team won the NAIA District 18 Championship.  She earned All-Star honors on the District 18 team for her performance.  Stasenko gave her best performance in 1984-85.  She scored 388 points, averaged 18.5 PPG, and pulled down a career high 8.6 RPG during that season.  Stasenko was named to the Women's Keystone Conference All-Star squad for her outstanding play.

Stasenko was known as a superb dual sport athlete at Penn State Behrend, and was named to the District 18 All-Star teams in basketball and softball for three straight seasons.  Her free-throw percentage of .725 left a mark in the fourth spot for a career, while her 272 assists are third most in Penn State Behrend's women's basketball history.

Stasenko earned her bachelor's degree in 1985 and is a defined contribution specialist for Mellon Bank in Pittsburgh.
