The 2007 Penn State Behrend cross country team placed seven runners in the top 10 at the AMCC Championship Meet to capture the conference crown with 24 total points.
Kevin Gorny was the individual conference champion with a winning time of 27:51.1 and nearly 20 seconds faster than second place Brian Leiter of Frostburg State. Tyler Lyon was fourth, Steve Monnie in fifth, Andy Marshall in sixth, Andy Iams in eighth, Bob Cizek in ninth and Matt Alto placed 10th. All seven runners were named to the All-Conference Team.
Kevin Gorney was named the AMCC Runner of the Year, Tyler Lyon received Newcomer of the Year and head coach Greg Cooper earned Coach of the Year honors.
