2007 Women's Soccer

The 2007 Penn State Behrend women’s soccer team continued the success of the 2006 squad. The Lions recorded 10 shutouts while posting a 11-7-3 overall record, finishing the regular season with the program’s sixth AMCC title and landed a trip to the NCAA Tournament for the third time in program history.

Earning the No. 1 seed in the AMCC Tournament, Behrend took on fifth-seed La Roche in the semifinals, knocking them off by a score of 5-0 and advancing to the championship game. The Lions then battled No. 2 Frostburg St. for the AMCC crown, defeating the Bobcats 2-1.

The Lions landed seven on the All-Conference honors. Midfielder Nikki Frisbee was named AMCC Player of the Year and was selected to the first team. Defender Emily Rogan and goalie Kayla Frost were also selected to the first team. Midfielder Kim Chapman, defender Katie Ritchey and forward Danielle DeMay earned second-team honors while midfielder Beth Manganaro was chosen to the third team.
