Both the Penn State Behrend men’s and women’s swimming & diving teams combined to run away with the 2008 Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) championship.
Penn State Behrend combined to finish 243 points ahead of second place Penn State Altoona. On the men’s side PSB tallied more points (311) than Penn State Altoona, Pitt-Bradford and Frostburg State combined (280).
Dustin Fairchild earned the award for AMCC Swimmer of the Year and Steve Graves was named AMCC Diver of the Year. Head Coach Jen Wallace was selected as the AMCC Coach of the Year. The Behrend Lions ran away with the all-conference awards combining for 25 First Team selections and 17 Second Team selections. Penn State Behrend has won all 12 AMCC titles since its inception in 2007.
