Penn St.-Behrend

Heather Hunter enters her fifhh year as an assistant athletic trainer at Penn State Behrend. 

Hunter is a 2013 graduate of Mercyhurst University with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training and a minor in exercise science. As an undergraduate at Mercyhurst, she got clinical experience at various high schools as well as Gannon and Behrend. Hunter was the athletic trainer at the PIAA Wrestling Sections the last four years and worked summer camps at Gannon and Behrend.

A native of Union City, Pa., Hunter is a CPR/AED and BOC certified, an NATA member, and is the Junior High cross country coach at Union City High School.
