Senior guard Tommy DiRienzo became the 24th player in program history to reach the 1,000-point plateau, achieving this feat with two made free throws against Penn State Altoona on Saturday. He helped lead the Lions to an 86-48 victory over Altoona, finishing with 21 points and five rebounds. In two games this past week, DiRienzo notched 17.5 points per game and 4.0 rebounds per game.
