ERIE, Pa. – For the second consecutive season, men's basketball player Russ Conley (Transfer, PA/Reynolds) has been named to the D3hoops.com Men's Basketball All-Great Lakes Region Second Team.

Conley was a dominate force in the paint for the Lions all season.  The senior center led Behrend is scoring (19.4), rebounding (7.9), field-goal percentage (59.7), and blocks (1.2).  He also led the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) in both scoring and field-goal percentage.

Conley was honored as the AMCC Player of the Year and was awarded First-Team All-AMCC accolades for the second straight year.  During the season, Conley became Behrend's all-time leader in scoring (1,771) and field goals made (674).  Conley was named the AMCC-Player of the Week three times as well.

The Lions finished their season with a 20-9 mark after capturing their fourth AMCC title and earning a trip to the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in program history.
