Conley, DeLisio Named All-Conference

All-Conference Team

ERIE, Pa. – Senior center Russ Conley (Transfer, PA/Reynolds) and sophomore guard Nick DeLisio (Aliquippa, PA/Central Valley) represented the Penn State Behrend men's basketball team on the All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Team, announced on Tuesday.

Conley was tabbed to the first team and was named the Player of the Year with DeLisio earning third-team honors for the first time in his career.

Conley led the AMCC in points per game (19.6) and field-goal percentage (60.9).  He was fifth in both rebounds per game (8.1) and blocks per game (1.3).  Conley broke the school record for career points and career field goals made this season as well, surpassing James Curren (2000-04).

This marks the third time that Conley has been tabbed to the all conference team.  In 2010-11 he earned second-team honors and last year he was named to the first team.  He was also named Co-Player of the Year last season.

DeLisio averaged 11.7 points and 3.3 assists per game for the Lions.  He ranked fourth in the conference in free-throw percentage at 81.9 and fifth in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.1.

The duo helped Behrend win the AMCC Championship for the fourth time in program history.

The Lions will be back in action on Satruday at No. 20 Wooster for the first round of the NCAA Tournament.  Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
