BEAVER FALLS, Pa.-The Penn State Behrend men's soccer team opened the season tonight at Geneva, playing to a 1-1 deadlock in non-conference action on Wednesday.

Scoreless after the first half, header by David Harwood off an assist from Teddy Kryswiecki in the 57th minute gave the Golden Tornadoes (0-0-1) a 1-0 lead. With 37 seconds to go in the second half, Jake Gamble knotted the game at 1-all to send it into extra periods.

Following two overtimes, the Lions (0-0-1) and Geneva both failed to score the golden goal. Goalkeeper's Chris Bolea for the Lions and Evan Biedenbach of the Golden Tornadoes started their first games in between the pipes.
