Grove City, Pa.- Behrend men's soccer failed to tally the game winner against Grove City in 2OT while fighting to a one-all tie in non-conference play Wednesday.

Scoring early off a counter play in the first half, sharp shooter Jake Gamble assisted by midfielder Brian Bodnar, gave the Lions (3-0-3) a 1-0 lead at the 7:32 mark. Less than five minutes later Gamble, with an opportunity to put the Lions up 2-nil, couldn't connect.  The save was made by Wolverines (2-1-2) goalie Chris Burgan who finished the evening raking up 9 stops.

Grove City's lone goal was a header by sophomore forward Andrew Quinn in the 30th minute of the first half to knot the game at one a piece, which is where it would stay.

Career high eight saves by Behrend goalie Chris Bolea wasn't enough to help the men overcome their third tie of the season and second in a row.

The Lions will look to continue their undefeated streak against Westminster this Saturday, taking place at the Behrend Fields beginning at 3 p.m.
