Johns Hopkins Defeats Behrend in CWPA DIII Eastern Championships

BALTIMORE, Md. - Penn State Behrend fell in its second outing on Saturday in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III Eastern Championships to top-seeded Johns Hopkins.  The Blue Jays defeated Penn State Behrend by a final score of 19-7.  Earlier in the day, PSB defeated Connecticut College 15-13.  Penn State Behrend will play tomorrow morning in the third-place game against Washington & Jefferson.  Tomorrow's game will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Key Moments:

Isaak Hatopp followed his strong morning performance with three goals and three steals.  Leo Suarez (West Palm Beach, FL/Forest Hill Community) added a pair of scores for PSB against the Blue Jays. 
Austin Hoff chipped in four steals in the game and Kyle Frerichs contributed three steals.
* Both Matt Olimski and Alijah Santangelo (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge) split time in goal against Johns Hopkins.  Olimski made 11 saves and added a pair of steals.  Santangelo made four saves and had five steals

Key Moments:

* Penn State Behrend jumped out to an early 6-1 lead against the Camels and held on late for their second win of the season.
* Both of PSB's wins this year have come against Connecticut College.  Behrend defeated CC, 12-10, back in September.
* Isaak Hatopp (Saline, MI/Saline) led the Penn State Behrend offense with five goals.  He also had six drawn kickouts.  
* Collin Holmes (Lake Forest, CA/El Toro) scored three goals and also added four assists in the victory.  Greg Kinzler (Kiski, PA/Agora Cyber Charter School) also scored two goals for PSB.
* Kyle Frerichs (Sellersville, PA/Pennridge) added one goal, three assists, and three steals.  Andre Sardaryzadeh (Murrieta, CA/Elisnore) scored once and tailed two assists.
Austin Hoff (Lake Forest, CA/El Toro) had five assists for the Behrend Lions. 
* Matt Olimski (San Diego, CA/Otay Ranch) made 14 saves in goal and added four steals.
