LOS ANGELES, Ca. – The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team split a pair of games at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships on Friday in southern California. Behrend defeated Austin College, 8-6, in the day's first game. PSB then fell to national-power UCLA 18-1 in the night-cap.

* Penn State Behrend battled from an early 3-1 deficit to grab a 8-6 victory
* Austin Hoff (Lake Forest, CA/El Toro) provided an offensive spark for the Behrend Lions, scoring three goals. Kyle Frerichs (Sellersville, PA/Penn Ridge) scored two goals.
* Joshua Koornneef (Grand Haven, MI/Grand Haven) Andre Sardaryzadeh (Murrieta, CA/Elsinore) and Dario Gonzalez (Hanford, CA/Hanford West) all tallied one goal apiece in the win.
