BERKELEY, Calif. – The Penn State Behrend men's water polo team was narrowly edged, 12-11, by Washington & Jefferson on the final day of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF) Championships.

* The Lions took an 8-7 lead going in to the final period, but the Presidents were able to net five goals in the final frame to claim the victory
* Eugene Kruger (Pleasanton, CA/Foothill) led Behrend with four scores and also dished out two assists
* Other multi-goal scorers for the Lions were Ryan Kenney (Skippack, PA/Perkiomen Valley) who tallied three goals and Eli Anderson (Encinitas, CA/San Dieguito) recorded two scores. Anderson also delivered two assists
* Chase Cordon (Canyon Lake, CA/Temescal Canyon) had a team-high three steals
* Goalie Ethan Friedman (Valley Center, CA/Valley Center) finished with five saves for Behrend
* Anderson and Jack Holl (Greenwich, CT/Greenwich) were selected to the All-MPSF East Tournament Team
