JAMESTOWN, NY – Kyle Trim (Bemus Point, NY/Maple Grove) tallied a 3-2 record at heavyweight to lead the Penn State Behrend wrestling team at the Jamestown Community College Open on Sunday.  

Key Moments:

* Trim recorded three wins and Matt Posego (Saegertown, PA/Saegertown) also tallied a victory at 165
* Trim was one win shy of wrestling for the third-place match
* Trim opened the day with a 9-0 major decision over Nathan Powley of Pitt-Bradford, before falling to Joe Shoup of Ohio Wesleyan
* Trim picked up two more wins, one by fall and one by a 4-0 decision
* Trim defeated Nick Manle of Hiram with a pin in 2:32 and then used a 4-0 decision over Michael DeLuca of Mercyhurst
* Nick Barrett of Alfred State posted a 9-4 decision to halt Trim from advancing
