Behrend Wrestling Heads to NCAA Southeast Regionals

ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend wrestling team travels to York, Pa. to York College to participate in the 2023 NCAA Southeast Regional, a two-day NCAA Championships qualifier at the M&T Bank Field House. Preliminary matches begin at 11 a.m. on Friday, while the championship rounds kick off at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

* The Lions will have nine wrestlers competing this weekend at a chance to advance to the NCAA Championships
* Senior Brian Himes (Brookville, PA/Brookville) is making his third appearance at Regionals
* Himes will be competing at the 174 weight class
* Zach Dellinger (Williamsville, NY/Williamsville) is fresh off a Second Team All-Conference nod
* Dellinger finished second overall at 125 at the AMCC Championships
* Dellinger enters Regionals with nine wins on the season
* Kyle Trim (Bemus Point, NY/Maple Grove) will be competing at heavyweight for the Lions
* The sophomore placed third in his weight class at the conference championships
* Trim enters with a team-leading 16 wins this season
