Behrend Lions Place Six on Women's Soccer All-Conference Team

The 2008 AMCC women's soccer All-Conference selections were announced on Tuesday, November 11.  The Behrend Lions landed six players on the team.

Senior Nikki Frisbee (Valencia/Mars) headed the way for the blue and white.  The first team selection was the fourth time that she has been named to the all-conference team.  Frisbee finished the season with eight goals and four assists to lead the team in both categories.  Frisbee finished her career with 39 goals and 23 assists tallying 101 points.

Senior defender Kim Chapman (Cranberry Twp./Seneca Valley) was named to the second team for the second year in a row.  The hard nosed defender was instrumental in the success of the blue and white over the last two years.  

Rounding out the senior class is honorable mention selection Beth Manganaro (Pittsburgh/Chartiers Valley).  Manganaro started all twenty games enroot to scoring 4 goals and dishing out one assist.  Lindsey Steinsdorfer Penn State Behrend MID FR Pittsburgh, PA/North Hills) joins Manganaro on the honorable mention list.  The midfielder scored eight goals in her freshman campaign to go along with two assists.  Also joining the honorable mention team was a pair of sophomores, Caitlyn Elser (Cranberry Twp./Seneca Valley) and Kelly Thill (Wexford/Pine-Richland).  Elser was tied for the team lead in goals with eight.  While she also assisted on one.  Thill was a solid defender with the ability to move forward.  Thill found the back of the net once for the Behrend Lions.
