TIFFIN, Ohio – The Penn State Behrend women's indoor track & field team competed in the Tiffin Dragon Invite on Saturday in Tiffin, Ohio.
Key Moments:
* The Lions placed in third overall out of 12 teams with a score of 61
* Senior Jenna Shelton (Cabot, PA/Knoch) finished first in the mile run with a time of 5:21.29, beating the field by seven seconds
* With the mile run win, Shelton qualified for the All Atlantic meet
* Haley Yenchik (Cecil, PA/Canon McMillan) ranked in second place in the pole vault (3.48m)
* Yenchik also finished in fourth place in the triple jump with a leap of 10.24m
* Riley Crissman (Bradford, PA/Bradford) finished first in the 3000m run, breaking her own school record with a time of 10:34.89
* Following Crissman in the 3000m were Savanna Carr (Franklin, PA/Franklin Area) placing second and Courtney Sargent (Erie, PA/Collegiate Academy) placing fourth
* The 4x400m relay team of Gabriella Loeffler (Pittsburgh, PA/Baldwin), Suraihyah Sule (Snellville, GA), Shelton, and Yenchik finished in second place
* Emily Mischen (Gibsonia, PA/Deer Lakes) broke the school record in the shot put with a throw of 11.08m, placing in seventh
